I think you've got to give Ramsey a mention, he was fabulous yesterday. If he can build on his consistency then he'll be a big player for us next season.

Yes I mentioned Ramsey, yesterday, he really seems to be gaining confidence and learning where the rest of the team are as is NickW.
Bruno did make a couple of errors late on but yes, his passion stands out and he can rally the rest of the team so well. I think that when we were going through that terrible spell was when he was injured, we were lacking leadership on the pitch as a result.

WtF was Willock doing there standing in the middle of no man’s land, not marking anyone, not a part of the wall.

Shocking defending that.

Absolute rubbish but very apt considering the season we've had.

Making them look like a super team, we seem half asleep.

Utterly garbage today, clearly not interested in the slightest.

Big changes needed, seems like the team cannot be bothered to play.
Its a feckin farce, Gordon not played for the least 5 matches, because he wants to go elsewhere so stopped playing for us and not been giving 100% and also because he had the World Cup in his mind.
We just cannot start like this again next season.

That sounds familiar. Next will be not turning up for training and if you're really lucky you'll get him releasing stories that fans have threatened him....

Yep, pathetic end to the season. I'd be gloating too if I was a mackem... They've deserved it, we on the other hand have been absolute dog st all season.

Just echo the above comments.
Nothing to play for 'cos they've failed most of the season
Looked tired, disinterested, disunited.
There were exceptions but.....

Why wasn't Lewis Hall selected for England?

No idea why Hall wasn’t picked, he’s been the standout all year long in his position. Had Yamal in his pocket.

Anyway, Gordon off to Barca. £75m or so, seems like decent business to me, he’s not been as good this year as previously & I prefer Barnes in that slot on current showings. So to bank nearly £40m of profit with a rebuild needed, and a uefa fine incoming, seems like a good deal.

I wish him well in Spain, he helped us move forward and get silverware. All of them deserve credit for that.

First Toon transfer could be Gordon to BM. Apparently, terms are agreed and just need to determine the fee (£75MM?)
Well, I got one part correct

You guys certainly know how to sell, jeepers. 70m from Barcelona? Thats a good deal assuming you can get them to cough up when it comes time to actually pay.

Yeah it's a good deal but I do worry they were so quick to agree the add-ons etc because the cheque has more than a little rubber in it!

I'll be sad to see him go as I liked him but he did go off the boil in the PL for us. I think he'll have fun in Spain

Sad to see him go but, he'll make some hay out there. Some business done early too.

Can someone explain to me how this is a done deal? As I understand it, the transfer window neither here nor in Europe is open, so this is really an agreement in principle, but what happens if / when he gets injured in the world cup? Could they then turn around and say "unlucky toon, can't sign him now, injured" ?
