So much for loving NUFC and kissing the badge.
Prefers kissing the bank notes I'd guess.
Once there's a doubt/idea in his mind about leaving he's always going have that.
All assuming it wasn't just media talk of course. His missus might like shopping in the Metro Centre and a pint on the Quayside of a evening.
I've no doubt he did love Newcastle.Prefers kissing the bank notes I'd guess.

But, we've failed to provide what he wants. We can't give him Champions League football, a chance to win the league or double his wages.
We can't blame him, as disappointed as we'll be, for chasing those. He arrived at a club in a perilous position when he probably had more than a few options and delivered on and off the pitch.
Nothing lasts forever.
I'll be forever grateful for what he gave, the quality he brought and the "f
king legends" line at the trophy parade.I wish him well. We all should.

I wish Bruno well too and I can't blame him really.
As for players preferring bank notes, apparently Tonali has admitted he'd rather have gone back to Italy but he couldn't get paid enough. Says it all. It was always obvious to me he never truly wanted to be here. Never mind, thanks for the hundred million quid spuds.

While I would guess that Eddie doesn't look at the multitude of idiot facebook pages I'd also guess that he had wind of the dissent within a section of the crowd and those also who just read the back pages of the Chronicle and talk b
ks. I can't imagine that helped in his team set up and decision making with regard to matches.
ks. I can't imagine that helped in his team set up and decision making with regard to matches. Blimey some take that mind as if a manager of a club would take the slightest bit notice of Billy from Benwell

Was always was obvious to (almost)everyone to be honest. On another note I was talking to a mag yesterday who told me the coaching staff gave up last season trying to give one of the players even the most basic instructions as he just can't take it in. Not the first time I've heard this tale either, doesn't make it true but after seeing this lad play I could well believe it

First actual bid for Bruno. Rejected.
Good job they spent all that time agreeing things with intermediaries then.
When you say they you do mean Guimaraes and his agents don't you?Good job they spent all that time agreeing things with intermediaries then.
Loads of rumours that the deal is all done but the mags holding out so they can announce a big signing at the same time.
I did laugh at the wag who said, regarding the new manager, when Ryder claimed it was held up by paperwork that only the saudis could hold up paperwork with themselves

Seems deals done £75m plus the usual opaque ‘easily achievable add ons’ for £5m.
It’s less about the sale, great player & leader but at 29 decent money, than what it says about the club for me.
Last summer caused chaos this one has gutted us. Individually each sale makes some sense and has merit but the overall picture is damning.

k is the vision? This can't have been anybody's plan? Expected nothing shortly into last season, expect even less this one.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
