It doesn't look good to me. We're going in the right direction with the right manager and money to spend.
Just please some stability for now!

But enough money to spend? Have the Chinese got deeper pockets?

Investment not takeover from what I've read this am.

Can't imagine that means anything other than a repayment of some of Cashley's IOUs.

Probably the biggest outgoing movement of the summer for us as it signals true change.

Hopefully.

I see we've been criticised by the Swansea 'legend' Lee Trundle.

Who?

What's he said?

Nothing much really, it was more the use of the word 'legend' in the reports I was laughing at.

As an aside Lejeune is having a medical according to Sky.

Yay!

It might make the fan blogs a little less miserable places to visit...

I'm a little concerned still about the lack of signings and more importantly the quality thereof.

Reputedly a couple of teams in for Siggurdson at £40m and were not talking Man City, Chelsea et al, we're talking Everton and Leicester! Now we should be at least aiming to compete with those type of clubs, shouldn't we?

The game seems to have moved on drastically and I'm not sure that £8/9m type players will now cut it.

I share your concerns. Our Championship team is no where near good enough to compete in the PL. We need a few quality signings just to keep us in the league never mind push on and aim for top 10. The other PL clubs seem to be getting stronger and pushing on. At one point you'd be fairy confident of a result against the "minnows" but unless we get a few more decent signings, every game is going to be a lottery.

I like this new third shirt. Shame they'll never wear it!

It's nice, our version of the new Celtic one to some extent, which also looks great. Odd how similar strips come out at roughly the same time. Anyone would think they'd just used the same design and changed the colours.

The signings drought continues. It would appear I'm not the only one getting concerned about this when you look at the Chronicle.

Ashley-itis is setting in again I think, as long as we're in the bottom six he'll be happy with TV revenue coming in.

Has no ambition apart from staying up in the premiership and raking in the profits.
Doubt Benitez will stand for this crap for long.

Manquillo in as well, looks like.

Not so sure about this. A defender from that lot down the road, after last season? Hmmmm.

Rafa needs to work some magic on this one for me.
