Good benchmark with today's game. Cautiously optimistic of getting something

Yeah total idiot. At least his ban will give an opportunity to others.

Edit: that's what 10 men produces.

Despite the scoreline there was some decent performances there I thought (Atsu in particular) and I'd like to think we'd have held them to a draw if it wasn't for Voldemort's antics.

Until the sending off, dumb, we looked ok, not outclassed by any means.

That being said, one off and two injured is more of an issue than the loss. Given our relative positions that was always going to be possible, probable even. We needed more players, and more quality, enforce the game. Even more so now.

Huddersfield away next week is already looking like an important game to me.

P.S. Dele Alli is an arse of the first water, odious smirking git.

Shelvey is a complete arse, he barely did anything in reality but, it's stupid beyond belief because crap like that is always going to get you sent off. Totally ruined the game.

Tottenham were largely crap, it was a flat game and looked every bit a 0-0 draw until the sending off.

I have to say, Kane was perhaps lucky not to get a red. On the face of it, I didn't think the challenge was that bad given that he got the ball. The thing is though, the punishment for dangerous play is a red card, how do you define dangerous? Presumably it's dangerous if it could injure another player? He injured lejeune who had to go off. The fact that Kane got the ball is irrelevant to this.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, I haven't seen the game as I've been driving.

I don't think I've much to say other than: Shelvey you .

Eh? Newcastle were awful, offered absolutely nothing at all. Did well to get 0.

No shame in losing to the Tricky Trees my friend, was a good game and could have gone either way.

Unsure what's going on a Newcastle, promotion is never really mission accomplished I guess,

Forest are still championship, and would gladly swap our problems for yours...

beer Glad you enjoyed it, I was 'watching' by live text feed. I think Newcastle are still Championship too which is proving to be a bit of an issue....

Not bad, not bad at all, despite the lack of jonjo.

Looked pretty good in patches, they're no great shakes mind, and like in the first half against the north london gobstes weren't out of it at any point.

What odds that Gayle is sold and no replacement arrives?

Any takers?

I'd say it's pretty much nailed on.

This is why I haven't paid too much attention in recent times. It was/is great getting Rafa but the problem will always be Ashley. Until he is gone there will be no ambition above surviving in the premier league, no matter what bks he comes away with next.

With no ambition what's the point?
