You know, that’s a much more positive way of looking at things.

Thanks, you’ve cheered me up!

8 goals in the Bundesliga last season, not really a sparkling return but probably on par with the calibre of strikers we already have.

I'm not sure how far down the list these guys are, whether they just look on the transfer list and see what's going cheap or who takes low wages.

I'd love to see one big money signing who could preferably add a bit of sparkle to the proceedings.

I'd rather have the Japanese bloke than Rondon.

Mitro gone and Lejeune out for the season.

Looks like another very professional window from Mike and his boys..........

Seen cruciate and operation mentioned, not a season out. Cruciate can mean weeks these days.

It's on .com that he's likely out for the season. Why oh why can we not find a buyer for the club? I'm sick to death of this regime. Absolutely no ambition other than to spend the absolute minimum possible to survive in the prem league. What's the point in owning a football club if you're not interested in trying?

Massive advertising potential for Sports Direct. The fat shopkeeper doesn't give a fk about NUFC, it serves a purpose, he won't sell.

Do yourselves a favour and stop turning up, an empty stadium and the reduced revenue that would incur is the only way he'll get the message.

Surely be cheaper if he sold up and put a deal in place to be the main sponsor for the next 5 years?

I haven't stepped into the stadium since he arrived. Last time I went was as a ST holder in 2007.

I have no idea if it would be TBH but he seems to be putting a massive value on the club; wasn't what he was wanting about a hundred million quid more than that Staveley lady and her clients were offering?

That's no small beer even in this day and age of mega PL money. eek

I think it's up for £350 million. I think the training facilities need to be invested in so that's got to be taken into account. The club has pretty much stood still in terms of progress since he arrived. It was probably stagnating when Shepherd left as I think the money was running out prior to the takeover

Stop turning up and an empty stadium and reduced revenue sounds like it could be a good idea but it is never going to happen and Ashley knows this. Who is going to pay for a season ticket in advance and then not go?.

Shouldn't have bought 'em, or kerb the direct debit if it's paid for via one of those schemes.

As if he was ever going to change his tune; been hearing for years about how the fans will walk away because of how he carries on, he's ripping the piss out of you all.

Hope you lads get it sorted; chumps like him are a stain on decent footy.

Just imagine if he was to buy West Ham. I think you'd explode.

So even after the latest purchase Mike's showing a PROFIT this window of approximately £22m.

The outright lies are now so blatantly obvious given the available facts that you do wonder how he can possibly be deemed fit and proper by the FA.

He's so unashamedly and unapologetically full of st that I'm pretty numb to it now.

I know what you mean, it’s hardly worth bothering with getting irate about anymore is it?

There’s no reason to hope about anything other than a struggle through the season with the inevitable loss of Rafa at the end of it when his contract expires.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. I'd love to think / hope otherwise, but he'll be gone and who could blame him?

The worst part? The players will think that now and, once the January transfer window is spent with no spend, they'll know it for sure. What price motivation then?

Common thinking holds that Ashley is a gambling man and that is witnessed in his decisions regarding transfers.
Personally, I think he just doesn't like people disagreeing with him, even when he's out of his depth and, rather than admit it, he'll act the .

Not sure it’s an act.
