I'm still very sceptical, go back 12 months and the reporting is nigh on identical.

- Mike Ashley is believed to be close to agreeing a deal to sell Newcastle
- Group A is believed to be interested
- Group A has denied any interest
- Group B is 'leading the race' (hate that phrase!)
- There are several interested parties
- No official bids are believed to have been received
- Due to premier league rules a takeover before January seems optimistic

etc. etc.

Yep, I dunno why people believe this drivel year after year. The phrase even a broken watch is right twice a day. My point being, yes it'll happen eventually, but until I see the new owner on a podium at the stadium, I'll believe nothing.
