Two games, two different teams. Sums us up.

Frankly, irritating that we cant put a shift in against teams we should be giving a game to.

Nice un-looked for point for all that.

Damn irritating, but not as irritating as having a £40m striker who can't strike.

Great result. Great.

Properly switched on from Shelvey and a great headed goal from ASM.

Rode our luck at times, but hey-ho.

Defended well, took the chances we had, but the blades were good and had they got one back and a very different feel to that I reckon.

How good was Dubravka? World class stops.

He was a class above the guy at the other end. For one, he didn't stand still and not make the save from an offside shot...

Blades fan here....which offside shot?

Play to the whistle. We made a mistake.

I am loving the way this season is going so far. Newcastle were lucky last night as we played well. Being a Blades fan though, there's always that nagging feeling that the wheels will come off. Admittedly not so much with Wilder in charge...but we need to be much sharper in the last two touches in an attack. Not putting teams to the sword when you have the opportunity (incl. Liverpool!) could cost us dear deeper into the season. It's going to be a very tight table this year IMO. Need to get back to winning ways against Norwich.

Newcastle defended brilliantly last night. Bruce had a plan on how to counter our game and it worked. Most managers would have changed things markedly after half time but he stuck to his guns. Not pretty, near zero chances. But it worked.

The point blank from Billy Sharp.

We defended well enough and the keeper was on fine form. Impressed with how SU have gone about the season so far.

Ahhhh biggrinthumbup

Henderson's received a few stern words from Wilder. I imagine he'll get a few more after that and will always play to the whistle for the rest of his days. (Unlike Wilder not to have said this up front really).

Not sure that goal would have really made a difference though. Not sure why Wilder took Norwood off as we looked more threatening with him on and your guys letting us have the ball.

Hey ho.

I think there has been a lot made of he goal but for me, it never looked anywhere near offside so I was surprised to see the flag. When it went up and the ref didn't blow the whistle, I took that to mean he was ignoring the assistant (as he should have) so there was nothing wrong with the goal.

In defense of the defender a raised flag would make you hesitate for a split second. I'm sure his mind went into relief mode when he saw it but he should have still done his job until he heard the whistle.

Anyway, we needed the points so I'm pleased with an away win and clean sheet. Sheffield are having a stroming season. They'll be fine this year and good luck to them.

Not that I’ve seen. He said it was bad to someone as he was leaving the ground apparently.
