We worked hard and got nowt.

Not enough quality on display last night and Burnley are always going to match your work rate.

Not sure they deserved the win, a draw seemed to be about right to me. Just goes to show that we need some more players in in January if we’re to build on some firm foundations.

Anyway onwards and upwards.

That was my assessment too, poor result. Joselu does so little I really don't understand why Rafa won't at least give Gayle or mitrovic a chance to show what they can do.

I thought before the game that it was a strange choice for a televised game by sky given that it had bore draw written all over it with two compact well organised defensive teams.

With Sky it's all about the money, advertising pays the bills, and the contract has to show so many games per club.

As a result we are a God send for them as regards playing 'smaller', no offence meant to Burnley, outfits as we are a one of the biggest draws outside of the usual suspects. Hence, all the tv coverage and crap kick off times for our fans, especially on away days.

Yep not good enough, no point slagging certain players.
Basically the players we have are not good enough especially in the finishing department and the manager cannot perform miracles with what he has available.
Saying that we were unlucky once again as the goal should have stood and most probably the end result would have been different and with so few chances we create one unlucky decision totally b-ggers us up.

Yeah the seige mentality seems to have broken down. Was a poor show with very little quality yesterday. 2 games with late goals does little for longer term confidence.

Reports that something may happen this week on some of the news sites.

Suggests £300m deal has been agreed.

Anyone else seen the news out of Manchester regarding their injury list?

I had false hopes after the first 20 mins but had conceded defeat by half time.

No, 10 million Slazenger t-shirts. Those 3 for a tenner deals are hard to resist.

Until a few weeks ago at least the defense was not bad, now we are bad in every part of the pitch.

We miss Lascelles. Get him back and that should tighten up a bit.

What we need is someone who loooks like a bloody striker.

What on earth he sees in Joselu escapes me.

Garbage.

I pick my bloody matches to make my 150 mile round trips to go and watch. Utterly useless. Never mind, I should see some superb football for my next one, by Man City that is.

I cannot see it either as he has had multiple chances to score and he cocked up.
Cannot understand why he is not playing Mitrovic, putting his temperament aside at least he is a fighter which lifts the team up and a far better finisher.

Getting worse and worse, not one single player playing well.
