Overpaid lazy f cks.

They need to be sacked. All of them.

Too much money, and not enough desire.
Ironically, the richest of the lot probably has the most desire and is the least lazy.

I've often wished that all the team show'd the effort and committment that Beckham does. He always looks to give 100% (although I didn't he him last night much..).

Rooney puts in a lot, Crouch does a good job as does Gerrard and the two centre backs. SWP is always a nuicance to any defence. But apart from that, a lot of poor performances - Barry, Cole (awful), Lampard (where was he, I never noticed him), Lennon, Johnson. D James was *ok* but no more than that, clean sheet though and that's what matters.

fk me, Cashley was absolutely woeful last night eh. Fatty wasn't much better, too anonymous. I thought Johnson did ok.

Gerrard is wasted wide on the left, come back JC you're needed.

All in all, 5/10.

So, even though its only a friendly, anyone want to call tomorrows game?

Due to our depleted squad I'll go for 2-1 to Brazil...

this match is such a waste of time

the only reason it's being held is because Brazil were the first team to play at the new wembley and the brazilian team's rights holders scheduled the match with the stadium that bid the highest amount

still, it's £400k in the FA's pocket to cover their mortgage

a dull 2-2

Depends how seriously Brazil are taking this game, I can see England nicking a 1-0 if Brazil aren’t that bothered, If however they stick the number 1 squad against us who are highly motivated then I can see Fabio having difficulty getting the team too compete and concentrate for 90+mins. 2 lapses of concentration, 1 silly mistake and 1 moment of foot balling genius by England 1-3 Brazil.

They will need all that 400k to pay Chelsea for damage to Lampard

2-0 to Brasil

Well the only thing I learnt from that pile-of-poo was that the following are NOT International footballers:

Wes Brown
Joleen Lescott
Jermaine Jenas
Darren Bent

The jury is still out on Matthew Upson.

I would add SWP to that list aswell, Milner stood out for me and thats about it, pile-of-poo as you said

I'd disagree slightly.
Brown
Jenas and
Bent
were just so poor and I'd have to agree SWP looked toothless too.

Lescott, however, I'd bracket with Upson in the 'very nearly' section. I thought neither looked any worse an option than Rio, to be honest.

Milner certainly looked good, his work rate was on a par with Becks in his heyday and Jenas too worked hard, but just lacks the skill or vision. His runs at the defence were great, but he has no idea when to stick with it or when to lay it off.
I think his inclusion in the starting 11 was a shame, because maybe Huddlestone could have done with the time on the pitch to show what he's capable of.

As a Spurs chappy I can say that NO team will ever win anything with Jenas playing. Some years ago I wouldn't have said that but now....... nono

Huddlestone though...needs some time on the pitch but could be one of the greats.

Not a fan of Huddlestone to be honest, his range of passing is superb when he is on he's game but the man is too slow and gets caught out to often.

I can't see him being considered next year if everyone else is fit.

Well in the first half we were pants and if we play like that in S.A. we'll be on the first plane home. The Americans wont be quaking in their boots this morning as they are more than capable of beating the first-half England.

I also can't believe some England 'fans' were booing JT rolleyes - do they want to destroy his confidence just before the World Cup.

Exactly the conversation we were having last night, Fair enough he's been a bad lad. But surely everyone wants him playing his best for the WC?

I don't care how good or how self confident you are, Having 80k+ "Fans" booing you has got to knock you off your stride.

I agree, no real England fan should boo Terry. He is a great player who has been a great captain for the team. Yes he made a fundamental error in what he did, which was wrong BUT can we move back to football now.

Yes I am a Chelsea fan so I do support JT more than others will, but, can we just concentrate now on trying to win the WC?

Boo Terry when you come to the Bridge, we have enough supporters to drown you out, don’t do it when he is playing for our country.

Dads a drug dealer.

Mum and Stepmum steal shopping.

Took backhanders himself for guided tours.

Despicable man from a disgusting family. It's no wonder he turned out to be a !

And don't tell me I'm not a "real" England fan if I boo JT. Hes been fking awful for Chelsea lately and if it wasn't JT, he wouldn't be starting. I'd be happy for him to sit on the bench throughout South Africa.
