last game of the season tomorrow......off to Donny.....would be nice to see us end on a high after a very turbulent season.

Would be nice, not optimistic given jewels midweek comments about Evans.

Not a happy squad by all accounts.

Rumour was Sonks was off as well.

Shame, every game I've been to, or seen, he has been the difference.

Not bothered by Leadboots going, he was woeful in all but a handful of games.

Considering we have only 2 CBs I am amazed Sonko is off. An odd decision.

Dunno. Sonks played today and was solid.

Scotland was ok. Lee Martin was a total workhorse.
Chops was a bit flat, rumour has it he's gambling again.

Jimmy had a bit if time towards the end and was ok. After the match he came to the crowd and gave his shirt to a disabled kid. Nice touch I thought.

Another season of mid table mediocrity!!!

There's always next season!!!

Overall poor season, hopefully we'll capitalise on the summer window & get some defenders & a gk. We had a great run but the 2nd watford game seemed to turn the season for us & we just lost the momentum.

So the first signing of the summer - Elliott Hewitt from (now) non-league Macclesfield. Only 18 years old so one for the future. Anyone know anything about him?

Yep. To young and small to compete in the championship.
Rated as a footballing defender.
As you say, for the future.

Won't pass judgement until I see him.

I guess we're after a keeper and a CB still? At least for cover.

Stevenson should be nice and fit for the next season, he showed glimpses of being a decent player. Drury came on leaps and bounds, JET improved massively, Hyam may get more of a shout, weirdly, I think we need another striker to join Chopra.

If we get another keeper and CB, i'll be quietly confident of challenging for the playoffs.

PS

Lambert! <punchesair>

Well, Luke Chambers, Forest's player of the year (2010/11) and a centre back.

Scott Loach, keeper 150+ appearances in the league and only 24 years old, and a former U21 international, so would hope he's better than ALB who's 28 and only made 38 appearances at this level (with us)

Hewitt we're still waiting on, but we stole a march on Arsenal by signing him, albeit they stopped their interest when he had a double hip operation! Major gamble IMO, but hope it pays off.

We've got a couple of trialists, one of which sounds exciting, plus the addition of Kourouma (pending compensation) it's an interesting squad for next season.

I'm seriously looking forward to a fit (mental and health) Chopra too!

I'm quietly confident.

Got fed up on the TWTD forum, listening to all the moaners. Massimo comes in on a season long loan, and they're unhappy because they think it'll stop Hyam getting a game...well, i'd rather whoever is best plays!

Lansbury did the job for Norwich, i'd be pleased if he came and did the business for us.

Time will tell, there's certainly a better feel coming to the club.

Now hearing that Cresswell could be on his way...

One word

Gutted.

Not particularly pacy, but a cultured left foot, and excellent all round play.
