You’d think the table was the wrong way round on this showing.
Derby have looked awful at the back.
They did look shakey, true. Some poor finishing on our part stopped that from being an absolute hiding; we probably should have scored about six.Derby have looked awful at the back.
I'm not getting my hopes up, we'll probably st it against Sheffield Wednesday on Monday afternoon
Blimey, we could have had 6 or more. If we played like that every week, we'd be up there with Wolves. I fking hate out of town stadiums (ironic) in the middle of an industrial estate, but at least it's not too far from the train station.
If Derby was in Wearside, it would still be known as a sthole. Dreadful place.

We might get to play your U23s in the Checker trade Trophy!
Couldn't give a fk about the wasters on the pitch, in the dug out or in the board room, it's the working class folk that have suffered/lost their jobs because of that Jock nonce Bain and his austerity drive that I feel bad for.
fk Short.

Well at least I've been proved right on one thing. When the Mags got relegated I said it was easy to get out of the Championship we've done at, literally, a stroll
In a nutshell st owner,st manager,st players and st strip..
Sorry for you lot, not the club, but the fans deserve better than this.In a nutshell st owner,st manager,st players and st strip..
Anyway, the top ten beckons.........!
Serious question for all your Sunderland supporters. Do you think you'll do a Portsmouth and sail straight into League 2 or will the parachute payments plus money from gate receipts etc be enough to stop the rot next season and help you bounce straight back to the Championship? Sad to see such a big name implode like this and genuinely hope it's the latter.

The parachute payments are easily outweighed by the debt repayment which is looming, so it's hard to see them being made available for players. But lots of teams in L1 survive without buying players, and without gates of 20,000. If they can't survive in L1 it's time to pack it in.

It doesn't really bear thinking about but yes.... yes we could. i would dare bet, from this seasons pathetic efforts, we are the worst professional team in the country and certainly the worst run. There would be a list as long as your arm on the cock ups, poor appointments etc that have happened to the club since Short rocked up.I can't see an end to our decline yet.
