If Giggs has any pride he'll go nowhere near the Liberty after he failed the interview last time round and the message coming out the Boardroom was he was less than inspirational - apparently to get the job you just needed to be American and be able to deliver a good speech...

If "Mr Rodgers" would re-consider I would take him in a heartbeat.

If Brenda left Celtic to take this job up again he should be arrested as he drives down the M6 and thrown into the loony bin.

I was pondering potential candidates earlier and thought about Gus Poyet, but the greedy git is in China - must be raking it in!

What about Tim Sherwood? He's available!

Paul Clement is the current favorite.

In a re-building for the Championship kind of way I would be happy with that.

I'll take that.

Survive or be relegated, I think he has the credentials to actually get us playing good football again.

And that is all I really care about.

I hope so but I'm not so sure, he's very inexperienced in the main seat. I'd have taken Gary Rowett personally.

I take the point, but so were Martinez, Sousa and Rodgers, and Laudrup to an extent.

From what I could gather Rowett's style of football was rather turgid - I think many true Swans fans simply want to see a return to good, stylish football regardless of where we are in the football league.

Funnily enough, many Derby fans complained about Clement's overly "Spanish" style of football.

I'll take any day of the week!

That sounds positive at least. I'm sure he's learned loads under Carlo. Hopefully he has him on speed dial wink

Good result albeit against a team in similar shape to us. Let's see who joins us in January

Yep, keeps us in touching distance and thought the defence was a little less Keystone Cops last night.

Will have a "prominent" role at the club but the rumour is that Jenkins texted him the news yesterday morning.

Stay classy Huw.

Do Swansea actually have any money to spend on any decent players, especially in January? What's the likelihood that Clement will be able to use his connections with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to get a few loan deals done?
