Can't really give you an update, Legend, as I only saw him once. In the end, depsite us being piss poor up front, he played twice for a total of 40 minutes and one of those was Hartlepool away! Hopefully, Paul Clement will take him back and loan him to a club where his development is taken more seriously.

Liam Shephard improved since my last critique on him but as said before, he wasn't a patch on Connor Roberts last season. Doubt he will be back.

On the plus side, Jamie from the media team let my lads and I into the Liberty for a picture on our recent trip....
That's a shame GM, especially as I thought he would contribute for you! Glad to hear Shephard is getting good game time and enjoying his football - he won't get near the Swans 1st XI but he is a decent lad and deserves a decent career at lower leagues.

Away from that, what a weekend! It's in our hands now - win against Sunderland and if Hull lose we are safe. If Hull draw then we are pretty safe on goal difference alone.

What a time to find some form!

And Leon Britton - greatest Swans player ever in my eyes.

Really finding form now at a crucial time. Massive three points today, hope Palace do the job tomorrow to avoid any last day jitters.

So did Clement keep Leon back for the run in, or did he just run out of options?

Hull have surely been relegated - losing 2-0 to Palace

Safe!

Unbelievable escape really, given where we were when Clement joined.

Fully deserved though - 10 pts from last 12!

Where would we be without Gylfi and giant Llorente....and of course possibly the greatest Swans player of all time, little Leon Britton.

If Clement can put his foot down and wrestle control of transfers from w@nker Jenkins then I am optimistic about the future.

JACK ARMY!

There should be a statue of Leon Britton halfway across the Briton Ferry Bridge, Colossus of Rhodes style.

I don't know how we finished 15th but evidently results under Clement would have got us about a 7th place finish if replicated over the whole season!

An unbelievable achievement really.

Sad to see Michu retire - another example of injuries tainting another brilliant career (ala Ferrie Bodde).

Possibly the best player I have ever seen wear the shirt, in probably the Swans side of my lifetime.

Very strong money on SkyBet for us to sign Renato Sanches from Bayern on loan.

Now that would be a signing!

Happy overall with the squad, with a bit of cash remaining if we need it in January.

Hopefully bring in this Arias bloke in Jan as full-back cover - we are one or two injuries away from having to field Rangel and VdH in the same defence...

Appaling choice of starting eleven by Clement. That game was lost in the first 45 mins.

Yes cowardly and worrying.

Mawson was also dreadful but seems to get a free pass from PC - like Sinclair to Brendan. That "tackle" was a disgrace to all professional centre halves who have ever played the game.

Paul Clement has gone then...

Sad to see what has become of the club in a year. He managed to avoid the relegation drop last year with apparent ease, but selling quality and spending far too little to realistically replace it has left the club poorly equipped to pull off another 'Great Escape'.

Interesting to read the press speculation too...

Stuart James writing in The Guardian said:
It is understood that Swansea have a replacement for Clement lined up and hope to have him in place before the critical home match against Crystal Palace on Saturday, with an announcement anticipated within the next 24 hours. Clement’s successor is expected to have Premier League experience, although there is no suggestion at this stage that Tony Pulis is in the frame.

I wonder who we'll see next in the passenger seat at the club. Or maybe we'll actually get a manager who is given the reins (and the budget) to actually manage the team all by himself for a change?

Must be odds on to get Pulis.
