Update on my sons car - dealer (Geoff Cox of Denby, Derbyshire) now has the suspension arms, should be done this week.
They are doing both of them.
Also they said the drop links are knackered as they always are - if we want they will replace them and as they have the suspension in bits anyway will charge us for parts only - so that's a no brainer. £20 odd a side they said, no doubt plus the chancellors 20%.

Genuine Subaru Impreza droplinks are about 40 quid from ICP so that's not too shabby.

I'm still waiting for Hammonds of Halesworth to get back to me frown

Subaru declined to pay for mine (2003 impreza GX) - corrosion not excessive for the age of the car. Cost to me £150 to recover car to subaru dealer plus £550 for supply and fit the two wishbones and one droplink. Car had passed punch test mid 2012.

Car fixed at no cost.
They talked about doing droplinks for the cost of parts only, but didn't touch them.
Car was filthy inside and out, and still is, they didn't touch that either.
Great my lad got his car back but bit of a poor show from the dealer I think, especially when hopes were raised with the droplinks.
Geoff Cox Subaru in Denby, Derbyshire.
Mods if I've overstepped the mark do your worst, but as far as I am concerned just stating facts.

My offside front tyre is cracking on the tread edge. Wonder if this is linked? I had the car in at a Subaru indie recently and they didn't mention anything when underneath.

No it's a Avon. I've got the other front as a spare and it's almost as bad so I'm thinking is it down to a bad batch.
