Hi guys, have just purchased a 2007 sti sit with this dccd. I don't particularly understand it's purpose or how to best use it and it also seems to dislike tight turns. From googling it I can find lots of people talking about fluid changes helping, some people replacing diffs and not helping much and some people being told/accepting it as normal. The noise is much more noticeable in auto than manual mode. Any help appreciated. Cheers

There will be crunching on tight turns when DCCD is manually locked, but not when open or in auto.

Best get it to a specialist to diagnose why there is a problem in auto.

Worth checking the wheel alignment and tyre condition too, It can make the world of difference.

That's interesting as the tracking is clearly out, am having a major service with everything changed next week as Cam belt is way over due and can't find any evidence the diffs have had an oil change. Will get tracking done at same time
