Looks fairly tidy and mods look well done, though API don’t have the best reputation anymore.
But it is heavily modified. If I was wanging £100k on a 22B I’d want it to be a 22B to drive. And with significant engine mods and not standard suspension or brakes (though upgraded brakes I’m ok with) it’s not likely to feel like a 22B so I’m out
API don’t exist anymore. They had a great rep up until the proprietor retired, then the new owner ripped a number of people off while the company went under. Including pretty much stripping one poor customers P1 and selling off the parts..

That would be the one to have if at a sensible price, as you could actually drive and enjoy it without worrying about depreciation.

Any car advertised as "mechanically immaculate" with 105k miles on the clock....hmmm.....

It also has the wrong front brakes, so not "original un-modified 22B".

I'm with Will on this; David was a nice chap until anything didn't go his way...then not so much.

Like Alan Clarke MP, I too find POA utter bo!!ocking tosh - if someone's selling an item it's only worth what someone's willing to pay, so bl**dywell state the sale price rolleyes

The 22B is for sale here for AUS$800,000 [!!] that's ~£480k in Blighty speak.

That took a while, I had assumed you’d meant the seat sliding forward would make it worth it smile

I’m short on 2 fronts so then.

Appreciating Classics posted a car that they have and it looks to be brand new or has been through a very thorough refresh.

5,000 miles and a recent big tidy up job done recently on it. Sounds very like the one that was in EVO relatively recently.

Currently at £122,500 with just under 3 days to go.

Although the Seller appears to be ignoring some awkward questions....

Does seem a bit sus. Though if I already had bids as high as that I’d probably shut up and let the auction go through too.
