Hey all

I've got a Nissan S Cargo van that won't start, it drove into my unit and put it on ramps, did some body work to it and now it wont start, it's only been in my unit a few months and had been starting although not driven.

I have checked compression and spark and both are fine but my spark plugs are bone dry which means it must be fuel related.

I have taken the carburettor off and there seems to be a pool of fuel in there, should this be correct bearing in mind it's on ramps?

My guessing is it's flooded or the pool of fuel is trapped, any ideas what I can do about it?

Thanks

Dave.

When you say bodywork, did you do any welding?

As a matter of fact, yes some welding was done.

Did you disconnect the battery first?

Pretty sure I did and I even checked all the fuses after just to be on the safe and they're all ok.

It's a 1990 car so there's not much electrics to it but it's got me stumped, how can the plugs be dry when I know there's fuel going to the carb and I know the pump is working.
