Hi,
I'm reading different reports of the plug change interval on newage imprezas (in this case 04) Some say 20k , the general concensus is 30k and 3 years , but I have also seen 60k or 5 years stated.

Mine have been in there 3 years now, and despite what is said elsewhere, it's not that much of a job to change them and is much easier if a 1/4 or 3/8 inch drive socket is used on the hardest one (passenger side rear on RHD), just a bit of a faff removing the washer bottle, airbox plus some other bits. Mileage over the 3 years is 15k , give or take.

currently running PFR7b's, I'll swap like for like but it's not a job I'm particularly looking forward to in late October...

i think it’s 60 k but change at 50 k so they are not worn out which they may be by 60k , that is based on a turbo car with quality plugs

Ahhh..nice one, thanks for that.

Looks like I'm safe for another year or two at least. I wasn't exactly looking forward to swapping them out at the end of the month in any case.
