Honda Civic 07 2.2 Diesel Injector Leaking?!

Hi All
So my trusty commuter car seems like its about to give up the ghost, its on 147k same as my old mk4 Golf was funny enough
At the weekend I went for a drive came back, sitting idling I heard a "ch ch ch ch" noise....opened up the bonnet, very load "ch ch ch" noise
Basically the same noise as in this thread

So as im not handy with a spanner, have no idea bout cars
Has anyone experienced this scenario?
Cost currently to replace the seals? An injector? Or if its a cracked manifold?
Also I take it, its a no no driving....ive called up a locl garage today and theyre closing until after xmas. Will leaving it standing do more damage? in the sense it will seize up over these next few weeks of cold.
Luckily im Working from home I think until the beginning of March at least at this rate
