Bit of a problem with two valves. Must be awkward tinkering at this distance.

I hope they resolve it - although the mission can continue even if each orbit is longer than they would like.

Some smallish cyclones. Well, nearly planet size but depends on your point of reference....

All the mid planet stuff, banding and layers and what not, seems a calmer place? For Jupiter at any rate.

Although the next batch might give some indication as to the actual picture.

Yeah, been trying to get to grips with the files to have a go myself, from that site linked last in my post. You can download and try. There are some cracking renditions from the original Juno camera images. I suppose there isa point where you remove the reality and just put up something that looks good. But what the heck, when you have a muse such as Jupiter....

The images are up for grabs so been messing with one to get some contrast.

First serious attempt after messing with the individual colour files. Got a bit lost for a while so messed with the colour image they provide.

Red spot got a flyover. The official web site is a pain.

This storm is 10,000 miles wide and has been raging for nearly 200 years.

I tried with the data sets for this a few passes ago. This seems to be the public however I cannot find out how some of the processing is done. I am finding that site irritating in the extreme when trying to have a go.

Cracking work by the public though.
