Love to see the NOTAMs warning for the area, just how big an area they are saying no go!

Apollo splashdown pictures from 50 years ago were better than that.

I’m probably behind the times but I was impressed with the video footage of the capsule before the chutes even deployed

Do you have a link to one that you think was better, I have searched You tube and only found some fairly grainy, shaky shots.

Thanks.

I though the live feed was pretty decent’ and loved the shots.

Private boats? This is amateur. I expected coast guard to be on the case with a cordon and for violators to be arrested.

If you want to advertise to the world that you're a shcensoredt for brains redneck arsewipe, and you're not quite sure if just barging into a space capsule recovery operation in your boat really gets the message across, then to be absolutely, definitely certainly sure of everyone knowing you're a tcensoredt, flying a Trump banner into the bargain just about seals the deal.

Awesome to watch but fook me how many boats in the area eek I think the coast guard will have a few questions to answer! No way should they have been able to get so close to the capsule!

Tim Dodd reporting a NASA source stating that as the splashdown was in international waters, no exclusion zone could be enforced - no idea as to the legalities, but if Bubba can get that close unchallenged, so can Johnny Jihadist.

There’s been a coast guard cutter on scene all day. I expect they’ll have reinforcements next time. Splashing down so close to the coast has its downside

They’ll not broadcast the location again I’d imagine. They are fortunate today that nothing happened except people got some very good photos and video.
