Delta scrubbed too.

Who said rockets would work as domestic transport lol.
Yep - no point in flying to Australia in 20 minutes if you have to wait three days to get off the ground.

Good launch - though I'd rather see more of the actual rocket and downlinked imagery instead of lots of time spent looking at a bunch of fat guys sat in mission control

So far this week it's US 0, Rest of World 2 biggrin

SpaceX is now targeting Thursday, December 20 for launch of the United States Air Force’s first Global Positioning System III space vehicle (SV) from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. Weather remains a challenge, currently forecasted at 20% favorable during the 26 minute launch window, which opens at 9:03 a.m. EST, or 14:03 UTC.

Scrubbed due to bad weather

The old adage "If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans" seems appropriate.

SpaceX are now targeting a December 22nd launch now. "Weather is 80% favorable for the launch window which opens at 8:55 a.m. EST, 13:55 UTC"

Blue Origin have given up for this month and will leave their launch for the new year.

In other news, the Soyuz capsule landed safely earlier. Sergei is back home.

^ Back on now for Saturday 19th Jan at 7:05 pm UK time (11:05 am PST).

They've fixed the small hydrogen leak on this fireball.

thumbup

Apparently the leak was difficult to trace as it only occurred at cryogenic temperatures, not at ambient

I wouldn't want to be the one with a cigarette lighter trying to locate it. wink

The launch is still on for tonight.

Coincidentally the Delta 4 Heavy is also "Miss January" on my NASA 2019 calendar.
