if you could get through what is on the other side of a black hole eg where does all the light go?
There has been talk of white holes which have the reverse properties, meaning nothing can enter them and stuff is continually ejected. Some speculate that these could be the other side of black holes.

^PBS Spacetime, a great space/science channel. A bit mind bending at times.

It's a beam of matter rather than light, but MASER already has a meaning. Intergalactic space spaff. Blackholegasm.

The numbers are somewhat boggling.

Completely bonkers. This has got to be an image of a generation surely. Appreciate the background physics and observations of many years are *just* being confirmed and cemented but, !, how mind blowing is this...?

Inspirational in troubled times on a tiny world.

I had no idea how much planning and organisation had gone into making that photograph - if that's the right word. Great achievement.
