Me and the kids just popped outside to see it.
A little overcast but it shone through the clouds.

Nice and bright and a good 4/5 mins pass.

I’m off to the algarve next week, it’s due to give us a few passes before 22:00hrs so hopefully it won’t be too cloudy.

Yes, 20 years old today. party

Or at least that's when the first part was launched - The "Zarya" module from Baikonur on a Russian Proton rocket.

Despite the terrible weather all day, sat in the dark in the conservatory and just happened to look up..... to see a very bright ISS going overhead.

It was tipping it down ten minutes ago but the skies just cleared. And there it goes.

It would have been a good week for viewing, if it wasn't so bloomin cloudy. Saw it on Saturday and Sunday, but since then it's been cloudy so have missed some good passes. It's due to pass overhead for a few more days so I'm hoping the sky clears. It's sunny outside now. Please stay clear.

The ISS has six spacecraft docked to it at the moment. The newly arrived Dragon, two Soyuz, two Progress and a Cygnus.

With all those extra solar panels deployed, it should be easier to spot.

Updated - thanks to Eric and Ructions for prompting.

Been a number of good passes in the past few days, and a few more to come. In the south west according to Calsky, 23:38 tonight 22nd, 01:14 tomorrow 23rd, 00:25 and 23:36 Weds 24th, 00:23 and 23:34 Friday 26th, 23:32 Sunday 28th. All times BST

The Wednesday 23:36 pass reaches 89.4 degrees at the meridian, about as close as it gets - from my location Calsky predicts the distance to the ISS at 418.7km, vs height above Earth of 418.8km - don't know if Calsky is using Mean Sea Level or Geoid elevation, local elevation is 63m AMSL.

Weather looks pants for Wednesday though...

In for updates, while the thread may not have been updated for some time, it will no doubt be of some value to those of us who are new to all of this.

Tonight you may be able to see ISS high in South: 9:57pm in twilight & 11:33pm. Dragon 2 to 5 minutes ahead of ISS we think!

Looks like there's 3 craft ahead of ISS!

Docking is tomorrow afternoon so tonight is only chance we get to see 'space chase'

Been a long while since anyone posted here.

There's a pass early evening if your sky is clear. 17:33 until 17:40

Yes - it gets a bit tedious after 20 years. However, I'll keep an eye out for it tomorrow smile

Indeed it does. Making spaceflight SEEM routine can actually cause it to seem a bit boring - which of course, it isn't.
