New exhaust SYM JET 100

Hello. I am going to attempt replacing the exhaust on my SYM JET as the current one failed the MOT due a leak.
I have ordered the exhaust and gaskets, some copper based grease and a couple extra bolts.
I have a Haynes manual which covers the one piece exhaust removable and replacement.
I think I can manage it but any tips would be much appreciated.
I don't have a Blow torch to heat up old nuts but will probably try and get one.
I don't have a impact wrench, just spanners and socket set.
I have learnt the hard way when I was younger not to use a water pump pliers if not got correct spanner 😮
Any help, tips and advice greatly appreciated.
