VW New Beetle RH Main Beam not working
Discussion
Its just a standard H7 which fits onto a little plug that connects directly to it. Im confident this part of the mechanism is all good.
The bother is that the Beetle headlight slides completely out as one unit, which is fine compared to most cars these days, but it means that when it goes back in it seats to a connector mouted the headlight frame which sits inside the inner wing. This connector seems to run off to the loom and is only a wobbly 4 pin thing.
Just looking at it I can tell it will be a nightmare to replace, so Im hoping it will just stay seated.

You could try a squirt of contact cleaner.
