I made some enquires for some parts for my car from about 5 - 8 breakers on Ebay at the weekend, the kind of guys who advertise a wheel nut for 50p and ask you to ask them for specific bits and they will list as buy it now. Some were clearly amateurs, but some were professional / trade breakers doing it for a living. The bits I want aren't neccessarily the bits you'd expect to sell straight away off a car as they are arms in the mechanism for a convertible roof. I'm expecting they'd have to be removed to order.

While I can get them new OEM from the main dealer I'd rather not pay full price; from prices in the US I'm expecting around 50% which equates to about £100 or so off the OEM price.

Not one has got back to me yet so how long would you wait? I appreciate the Sod's Law answer is "5 minutes longer than you did"...

Obviously there is no way we can answer that& I am not being pedantic, they are EXTREMELY hit & miss these places, I generally don't use ebay scrappies for exactly that reason, have you tried the "parts finder" type web resources? I tend to find these are better at getting back to you.
