2003 corsa c the cooling fan wont turn on when A/C turned on, ac wont blow cold at all. I knew the fan dont work for a while now but the engine always stayed cool, the highest it got was 85C, but the hot weather is coming and Im slightly worried it might overheat. Couldnt find a clear and understandable fuse box diagram so couldnt check the fuses yet, does anyone has a nice one like toyotas? Those ones are very clear and readable. Thx for help in advance

??? What do you mean? The radiator has to be cooled so the ac can work and yes the same fan is used to cool the engine, I didnt mess up anything in my writing so you getting me pretty confused right now

There is only one fan, a condenser and a radiator. So if the aircon is turned on or the engine gets hot the fan turns on. Which it doesnt. I cant write it more clearly, and dont get it what you on about

Is http://fusesdiagram.com/opel-vauxhall/fuses-and-re... any help?

I understand your main concern is whether the engine cooling fan can be relied on to control the engine temperature. The empirical to find out is to get the car reasonably warm and then leave it idling while you monitor the temperature gauge. At this time of year I'd expect the cooling fan to come on within a few minutes and the sound ought to be quite obvious, especially if you lift the bonnet. If the temperature creeps up towards the red and the fan still doesn't come on, obviously there is a fault that needs fixing.

You clearly can write it clearer, because that ACTUALLY explains what you mean.

Your first attempt said "the cooling fan wont turn on when A/C turned on" - sounding like you are quite simply expecting the engine cooling fan to turn on when you switch on the AC.

If your AC does not work and your fan does not work you really need to get it checked out at your local garage/aircon specialist. It costs around £30/40 & they will test everything & tell you anything that isn't working.
