Sorry if this has been asked before, but my search wasn't yielding what i was looking for.

I have an Aston Martin DB9 and need to buy a jack and jack stands. I see a lot of recommendations for jacks to buy over in the UK, but not many here in the states. Where are folks with low cars like a DB9 going to get their jacks and jack stands, here in the states?

Also worth noting that i have a coated garage floor with the paint chips and clear coat, and anything that would not scratch the floor would be a huge plus.

Don't know what retailers are in the US but the manufacturer Arcan always comes up in discussions about jacks for good reason. They are made in the US afaik so you should be able to find one of their low profile ones easily.

Worth checking the Aston Martin section as there is a US owner with lots of good information about jacking pads etc.

Have you tried Costco?

They have sold American racing trolley jacks over here from time to time.

Quick jack coul be a good one. It is little bit pricey, but i think it is a best solution.

Harbor freight is your friend in the US. Take a look at the daytona range of jacks which include low profile

I have a yellow series one and I’m very happy with it.

I have an low-entry ali body Arcan 1800kg which has been great for light diy use from for the last 5 years.
If you never need to get it off the floor, the steel one is likely as good if not better and a reasonable cost saving.

I have a VX220 which is pretty near the ground. I bought a 2 ton trolley jack from Lidl which just fits underneath, it is a Chinese made item sold all over the world under different names. Have a look on Google images, it is instantly recognisable as it has a yellow lifting handle on the top centre. Mine cost around €25 but I see the same item with assorted names and prices being sold on Amazon.

Btw there called axle stands 😉
Also they are brake discs not rotors ( think about it you don't call them rotors brakes do you?)
