Hi All

Have a 2016 Qashqai (yeah I know, doesn't belong on PH), and put some winter tyres on two months ago. Never had any issues with the tyres or need to top up the air at all.

Yesterday I switched it on and the front left tyre was down at 18psi. I topped it up and it stayed there.
Then today I went for a drive, parked up, came back to it and switched it on and the rear left tyre was down at 18psi. Drove the short distance home, topped it up and it has stayed there.

Checked over both tyres, and no nails/glass/bullets sticking out.

Given that this has never happened before, is it a huge coincidence that both tyres have done this, is it some kind of paranormal activity, or the car deciding to annoy me for driving through too many puddles?

How are you measuring the pressure?

the car does it itself, but I also have an air compressor with tyre attachment. Both have agreed.

I also realise it's both the left tyres, and it's been really really wet around here, which has meant a lot of deep puddles. Not that I would have thought this could deflate a tyre! Haven't hit any potholes or kerbs though

try to watch out every time you parked your car, maybe someone playing pranks on you.Is the left side was the side facing away from your house where you can't easily spot people getting close to your car?

thought of that.

One went down at home. one 20 miles away in another town.

Tyres have remained up today. absolutely no idea what is going on!
