hi iv got a astra k 2016 estate 1.6 cdti 2016... with aproblem ...
when i first start it on a morning or afternoon ...it starts first turn of the key ...

BUT...

some times it turns over very slow and only just starts the car ...

so i took it to get the battery tested and they did all kinds of battery tests and said the battery is fine ...and it just needs a longer trip to top it up to full...but what they cant explane is why it turnt over so slow as the battery was nearley fully charged when i got there...

and id only done 3 miles from the time it turnt over so slow...

this turning over slow only happends every now and then ...its never not started... but only just seams to start the car ...but after the first start its ok for the rest of the day ...???...do you think its the starting motor giving trubble...???...or mabe you no of something els it might be ...???...thank you ...regards paul...

99% it will be a connection in the starting/charging circuit that isn't quite up to scratch/slightly loose.

Remove each & every high current connection in the starting/charging circuits, clean check & tighten properly & that should sort the issue. Don't just give them a prod & think they are ok, they take very large currents & need perfect connections.
