Set of genuine Bosch glow plugs, £23 delivered
Glow and spark plugs are massively counterfeited. I'll need a set of Iridium spark plugs for a Honda and word on one of the marque fomus is on eBay they're all fake.

I saw a few of these sorts of companies - disguised as UK companies, they all end up shipping from Germany, and they all use exactly the same website format, so I imagine they are all linked.
I ended up buying the part I needed from a known UK site. Yes, it was more expensive, but it arrived in 2 days vs an unknown duration
I ordered some stuff from Autodoc at the weekend and they had a big banner referring to the Euro football tournament with a Saltire, stating "we're Scottish!" and a 32% discount. Knowing they are German I smiled, but as I live in England it's possible they are looking at IP ranges and making assumptions, which made me wonder if they will be offering different discounts in the home nations, depending on football performance? Might be worth investigating if anyone has a big order and a VPN account I ended up buying the part I needed from a known UK site. Delivery definitely isn't quick. Whereas with CP4L I've sometimes ordered in the middle of the night and had bits arrive in the morning.
Nothing beats a marque specialist for having the right parts first time though... Stupid part revisions are a curse. "Oh, your car must have been made on a Tuesday, but the connections on this switch are only for cars made on a Thursday. Plus you have the wrong flavour air for your tyres - this flavour is for Michelin, you've got Pirelli."
Well I ended up ordering the most of it off eBay, a few bits from CP4L. All sensible prices (although as luck would have it, I can't find the discs for £25 anymore - I should have jumped on that, Bosch discs for £25ea!)
I think I will still use Autodoc due to some parts seemingly only being available from there, but once you've got a few things in your basket the final price can vary so much from day to day. Not fun at all!

If I'm looking for something very specific then I usually go straight to ebay these days - there are a lot of high-volume parts sellers on there who stock huge ranges. Even if they're sourcing it from other suppliers, the price is right and you get exactly what you want.

Carparts4less have been good and ironically the stuff I’ve ordered has been dropped off in an ECP van.
This just happened too! I'm sure I've ordered from CP4L before and it's come via a courier, but I guess they aren't bothered about hiding the fact they are the same now. I did actually use a discount code on CP4L, hopefully they don't go fully the same way, but it was cheap enough
I ordered a BMW sensor from Autodoc and offered free postage as £170 for the part. When they mean free postage, they are right and after 9 days of 'being stored' in a facility which is the european Post Office (GLS) and getting no response from Autodoc on when I was getting it, a quick 1 out of 10 for their review then got it moving ,although was another 6 days before I saw it. I can take a week for it to appear, but to site getting dusty in a warehouse for 9 plus days is just not on its way.
Ebay for Opie is good for me for stuff. Always cheaper than the usual discount online offer. Turns up next day, which is fab.

I use Autodoc all the time. No issues, much cheaper than Euros etc. You just have to allow a week for delivery, so no good in a rush.
They have a different price offer daily.. I just wait for a 36-41% day to order.
Sorry; a week? They have a different price offer daily.. I just wait for a 36-41% day to order.
Average delivery currently is 4 weeks; if they're on time... That's not just hearsay; it's fact.
A LOT of folk on various BMW forums have had serious wrangles with them recently because the tracking is st & no one has any idea if/when their parts are due to arrive
For BMW owners; stick with BMWmotormec via eBay, C3BMW or BMW themselves (Cotswolds and Park Lane generally offer the best prices I've found)

Where was this factual average posted? Typically its a week for me also I use them 4 or 5 times a year . That means that some people must be waiting 2 months to average 4 weeks! Average delivery currently is 4 weeks; if they're on time... That's not just hearsay; it's fact.

Auto doc was a week for me, for a gasket set.
What I don’t understand is why the entire car parts industry is engaged in this baffling flip flop pricing strategy. Autodocs constant app push notifications and emails are cancer. Euro car parts. Can’t walk in the store and get the website price, you have to stand outside, click and collect it and walk back inside to the get item at the cheaper price.
I normally just get stuff from the dealer now, unless the genuine part is priced way higher than good substitutes (e.g. air on condensers). Ask for a trade account, they normally hand you one without asking.

I won’t use Autodoc any more, they repeatedly sent a lhd door handle instead of the rhd one I ordered, had to pay return postage three times then they failed to refund me.
They basically stole £50, messed me about for months, never refunded me a penny, meanwhile I had a drivers door that wouldn't open.
They've had their chance, I will not use them again.
BTW Europarts are on my avoid list too, wrong parts half the time, crap quality goods, couldn't care less attitude. They have been acting this way since the 1980s and don't look like changing soon.

It's almost like they realised people are quite happy to pay less for the exact same goods and exact same service!
Just had my latest Autodoc order through. I kept an eye on the tracking in response to this thread.
Order placed 14th June
Order handed to courier 15th June (in Germany)
Last night around 10pm that was still the latest status.
7am today, status was that it would be delivered today.
Lunchtime, it arrived.
2 weeks isn't so bad for parts on a car that can sit (I'd advise against using them if you need that car fixed and back on the road asap), but the lack of information for 2 weeks makes you start to wonder if packages are lost in transit.

I discovered Autodoc a while ago after a local workshop couldn't find the problem on my 2007 Black Edition A4 Avant tdi so after 5 months of waiting the workshop 'Losing' the 3 button key, a replacement key & ecu being obtained the car was returned to me still not sorted so having looked at the box the ecu is in I see 3 relays underneath the ecu are sat in water I ordered 2 relays from Autodoc arrived within 5 days the postage was more than the relays but the car was running again in less than a 10th pf the time at this workshop I've since ordered 2 window regulators it wasn't about the cost it was a recognised make being Febi Bilstein rather than some others for less money
