Aircon pipe repair

On the basis that this a very much a shed, and therefore am not going to spend much on it, could this pipe be repaired to an airtight standard with some metal epoxy repair type stuff perhaps?

A copper pipe slightly bigger with the gap filled with something might work.

I personally would be visiting a scrappy/getting on ebay, probably not much more than a Pavarotti.
