Vauxhall Tigra boot and roof reset

I've just acquired a Tigra, pretty cheap as the electronic roof and boot release aren't working. The guy who sold it to me said there was a tutorial on YouTube about how to "reset the system" after the faulty component had been replaced. I've found reference to turning cogs to bottom dead centre but no tutorial on where they are or whether I need any sort of tools to do this.

I've got into the boot via the emergency release in the passenger door but I'm a little scared to go poking around anywhere near the roof space as I've never done any sort of work on a convertible before.

If anyone could direct me to a video or an instruction manual I'd be grateful

That's fab thank you, still can't find the video, everything seems to be fixes for the roof but not the boot, but there's some good info on that forum
