New job. Work for the vehicle acquisition group for a large sanitation company. I need to run the routes and drive the trucks to get an idea whats needed in the future. 120 miles yesterday, basically all alone in the forests. At night, well, between 1430-2300, goes pretty much pitch black at 1700.... Freezing outside, and the first snow of the year... 2016-11-04. Brand spanking new truck tho. Less than 1000 miles on it. Scania P320 with a slushbox no less.. Underpowered has got a brand new meaning...

Found this rather nice location pretty much 5 miles into the forest...

First snow of the year, we're expecting up to 10 inches over the weekend, can't wait to start working monday morning....not...

A few more. During the day this time. Very bleek and pretty out in the archipelago even in the early winter. I do not fancy driving these roads when the proper winter arrives...

Deer of sorts, although not in the wild per se...

Gorgeous but very very cold day today, -13 was the low point. And finally some snow, not much, about 15 cm.

My first dab of oppo in the truck, with evidence. Roads have been frozen now for a while, but a recent warm spell have made them very wierd with a layer of mud over a rock hard base..

Happened at 20 mph biggrin Not much room to spare and caught me off guard to say the least. biggrin

I have found 6w and 8w trucks to be the easiest to drift, even without diff and cross locks...

Im surprised that you found a 320 to be underpowered. 6w?

It's mated to a 6-speed slushbox, so it's a bit tame. it's a 6 wheeler with steering tag axle.

World record attempt of 50 balloons to France from Dover. The minion went down behind the trees never to be seen again so don't know if it was successful

Some more nonsense from the Swedish countryside

As you can see there is snow... in mid April, in the south no less. Yesterday, on long friday is snowed the whole day, 0 degrees, and today on the 15:th of april it was -10 in the morning and sunny, very pretty actually. Shot from the cellphone, and I always think, daaamn,m this is going to be a good photo, and they always turn out lack-lustre at best wink
