We have a Discovery 4 HSE that we use, often, for trips away.

I hope you like this one as you will probably never see another (some may say that's a good thing - boo to you haha)
So, starting in 1961, Rapido made quality caravans and developed a unique 'pop top' that was very popular. However, caravan popularity started to decline in France and so they decided to venture into Motorhomes and launched the Rapido 410 Randonneur (backpacker) in 1982, selling 50 in 1983 and 150 in 1984 before moving on to the far more streamlined 710.
This is a 1983 model that considering it's now 42 years old, is in remarkable condition. At some point it had a roof leak that has been repaired and the underneath is as clean as it came out of the factory - the benefit of no salt on the roads no doubt.
As expats living in France, I purchased her recently and have started a restore, repair and upgrade process that should keep the exterior completely original but improve the interior to make it a little nicer to use - and use her we will!
One thing that we won't be changing is the little 1.4L 43hp motor with its 4 speed gearbox - wherever we go, it won't be quickly

Picked this up at the weekend. Vantage Vue based on Fiat ducato. 2 owners and 13k miles , very clean. Hoping to put some miles on it and have some fun get aways.
The Vantage was excellent for the NC500 and other Scottish adventures.
Looking forward to seeing how a larger van handles the trips.

We took the Eriba to a nice little site in the Cotswolds at the weekend.
It was near Soho Farmhouse which seemed to have a regular supply of celebs flying in by helicopter.
The irony of me sleeping in a 35yr old caravan with the khazi in a toilet tent wasn't lost on me.
Those A-listers don t know that they are missing!!
