As per the title, on our French travels in a large Motorhome & would like to spend a few days on the shores of lake Annecy but believe it's rather busy & pretty tight for access so wondering if anyone has been & could share their wisdom please?

Don't desperately need to be right next to annecy town centre as we are taking a scooter in the boot so happy to use that to get around from a nice base ideally right on the water if possible.

How large a van?

We stayed here: http://www.campinglesolitaire.com/le-camping/ which was a bit tight in high season but I'd expect fine now.

Mine is 7.5m long and I fitted in all the ones we found no problem. I can’t vouch for the one above though. The 3.2m height was also interesting getting to some places!

We went to Les rives du lac, which is right on the lake side with the cycle track going past as well and close to a supermarket. Be carful in Annecy with height restriction barriers on some roads, I missed a sign and had to reverse back to a roundabout, oops
