Best "on the move" headphones
Discussion
I'm looking for a set of decent set of bluetooth headphones for my daily, 2 hour commute (each way) to use with my iPhone 7. IEMs have worked well when I had a headphone jack and I like the convenience of these as they can fit easily in the pocket. So, what to do? Looking to spend around £100, looking for good battery life, sound quality and preferably small/convenient.
i have a set of KS zst headphone they are iem's and sound fantastic , as a point of reference i also have some Shure s2's and etymtic hf5's and the KSZST sound great and are really equal to the others , you buy the headphone and then buy the bluetooth receiver and the bluetooth receiver replaces the original cable. I would also invest in a good set of foam ends for them as this will make a better seal in your ear and improve the sound and reduce outside noise. the only negative i have found is watching video there is a slight lag, but for music they are great
I was in the States last week and picked up a set of Samsung Level U Pro's. Very happy with them. To my ears the sound quality is good (better then the variety of wired Sennheiser buds that I've been using for the last few years) and more convenient that the over-ear Sennheiser PX 550's that I have for long journeys.
I basically wanted some without wires for the gym but think I'll use them for (tube) commutes too as they are comfortable and sound good.

EDIT; not sure they fulfill the "small criterion". Small and light enough to fit in a laptop bag/gym bag bit not for your pocket.

Thanks. The look good, I'm also considering the Bose which are more expensive but have good reviews: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01L7PSJFO/ref...I basically wanted some without wires for the gym but think I'll use them for (tube) commutes too as they are comfortable and sound good.

Having recently upgraded from a 6 to a X I decided the little external DAC cable was too much faff so decided to do just this and buy some Bluetooth IEMs I went for the Sennheiser Momentum IE2s. They took a few hours to "run-in" (during which time the bass really improved) and I'm really happy with them. My wired IEMs are Sure SE535 so I was expecting to be quite disappointed (relatively speaking) by the IE2s but I actually think they are great VFM.

Do you mean these ones? http://amzn.to/2rNEVQG I couldn't get anything when I searched for "Sennheiser Momentum IE2"I have some really cheap ones from eBay and they are super annoying and need to be consigned to gym bag only!
In the end I got a pair of Bose Spundsport in ear wireless headphones. First impressions are good - comfortable, light and easy to operate. Sound is impressive with decent bass, clarity and not tiring to listen to. Only real issue is external noise is easy to pick up so you cannot hear much at normal volume on say a noisy tube train. In a quiet environment however like in a gym or running they work really well.
I've had a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones for ages now and still find them unbeatable I have a pair of Sennhiser HD 595 and 600 and much prefer them over both. They do come up for sale on e-bay in good condition now and then so you take a chance, I may even go and look for a pair as back-up. They are fairly small but the sound is mind-blowing although you do have to keep the battery pack charged but you get two batteries and they last for many hours.
Correction they are Quiet Comfort 3 and quite a few on e-bay I've bid on one or two sets. I paid £300 for them an awful long time ago. I upgraded the lead and bought new ear pads.

I also have a pair of these and they are indeed very good. They came with wires though and a bit bulkier than I would like for everyday use. The Soundsports will easily fit into the palm of your hand.Correction they are Quiet Comfort 3 and quite a few on e-bay I've bid on one or two sets. I paid £300 for them an awful long time ago. Ok I’m going to look at this again. The Bose Soundsport headphones do sound good but let in so much outside noise that they only really work in quiet environments. Also the battery needs charging every 3 days which I often forget to do. I’ve gone back to wired IEMs for the time being. Might have to bite the bullet and get some proper over the ear wireless headphones.
I use these every day on my commute (1.5hrs each way): https://amzn.to/2GG78A0
Superb sound isolation, and minimal sound leakage. The app that comes with them is also great for tailoring your headphones to your own personal taste.

I just bought some Sony WH-1000XM2 which seem excellent so far. I was using IE800 on a Mojo which sound fantastic but the wires and bulk are just a nightmare especially now I've shed my winter jacket with its deep pockets whilst commuting. Your choice of bluetooth phones should be steered by codec support - if you are an Apple user you need to get ones which support AAC over bluetooth (like the Sony). If you are using Android you should be able to use the higher bitrate AptX / AptX-HD or Sony LDAC codecs. The Sony's I bought are great because they support everything, but most seem to only support AAC or AptX, not both. If you can't get one of these codecs to work you're stuck using the rudimentary SBC codec which sounds st.
