Reupholstering a 997

Does anybody know if the front seats on a 997 can be reupholstered if they are heated? Are the heating elements in the leather or in the padding beneath?
I have asked my local company but they are unsure not having done one before...

Ask these these people http://www.designls.co.uk/ I found out about them as a lot of people on 911 UK forum used them for interior leather trimming. I know he's done a complete colour change on an interior for one member on there. He did a leather center console for me on my 997 GTS which is excellent.
