In the past I’ve had twin refillable Gas bottles via a skin fitting in my big motorhomes.

Now I’ve bought a VW Kombi and had it converted I’ve now bought another a Gaslow refillable gas bottle with all the proper connections that are sold with it but it needs to be filled but not via a skin fitting as its for my Cadac.

My problem is most garages will not fill gas bottles even though it is made to a certain refillable specification and BS, so what does everyone else do is my question with these bottles ?

I fill my bottles at my local Flogas depot, they're fine about it. They're also cheaper than the forecourts. I have used forecourts & have never had a problem, they usually have a sign saying that the filling of portable cylinders is prohibited so I try to be discreet, most cashiers are too busy scanning all the other stuff they sell to check anyway!
