close enough, a MAN an audi and a peugeot. the pug is far and away the most reliable and least maintenance hungry.

2019 technology to play 1993 choons.
going to have xlr connectors at the back doors so I can plug in big speakers outside, and 240v sockets and quick release brackets on the roof at the back doors so when we go camping in remote places we can bring the rgb lasers, smoke machine and strobe light from my kitchen at home to have a proper party.
Just need a couple of trim clips to secure the modified 2012 style speedo surround into the 2004 van.

also emptied 6 cans of expanding foam int the cavities I cant reach with the recycled plastic loft insulation, and what a difference it has made to the quietness and solidity of the van, when you tap a treated panel its that heavy quiet german thud instead of the tinny french hollow rattle sound it had before.

That's what it's for! Good for putting cables through too.

I'm guessing thats what its for, never had a bongo and this is my first vivongo. fitted up in the roof bedroom a couple of 12v accessory sockets and usb ports up there, a very low consumption led nightlight, prewiring for solar panels, a 12v 150w ceramic fan heater and 2 1m led strips in ally channel with diffusers.

How did you manage to sort the electrics, did you manage to maintain a lot of the original kit?

I didnt bother, the original electronics didnt suit how I want it to work. I now have it that the button inside the roof area triggers a timer relay which gives you 2 minutes to lower the roof, that feeds a recessed momentary push button acting as a dead mans switch, and that in turn energises a 40a relay which supplies an electric window switch which then feeds the motor. there are leds to indicate when it is locked and latched in its fully up or fully down positions.

That's weird, is it worth adding a biocide to the tank so it flushes the lines?

I just bought the wynns biocide, but I am concerned by the sheer amount of ste coming through I think it would be better to drop the tank and give it a thorough clean out I am getting a bking because it lost power with the mrs driving it at 2 in the morning.

Agree, tank out and given a good clean. What is that anyway?

Replacement tanks look to go for around £30-150 on ebay, might end up in the same condition as your current one however.
