Planning on taking motorhome to Glastonbury next year. The limit for taking one onto the site is maximum length 8.00m or you have to use the Bath & West Showground.

Anyone have any experience of using B&WS for their motorhome while at Glastonbury?

Pro's and Con's appreciated.

I've stayed in Campervan East once and Campervan West five times. Never tried B&W but know folk who have. Pros - quiet, regular shuttle bus to pedestrian gate A. Cons - Too quiet. Doesn't feel like you're in the festival. Ped gate A is miles from anywhere so long walk once off the bus. You just want to wobble back to your van at 3am not catch a bus.

I loved West. Never any queues. Not too far from Park, Arcadia etc. East has longish queues to enter at peak times and "the hill of death". Sadly West is now pre-erected tents and tipis so am in East this year.

I would be tempted to get a shorter motorhome and stay in East!

Cheers RZS - Already purchased the B&W tickets when they went on sale.

Too late for your option to stay in East!
