Have this on our recently acquired MH
Can’t get it working. It opens and spins around looking for signal I assume. Tv is on and sat box is on but no lock on.
I’m thinking it’s supposed to auto search then stop.
I’ve left it doing it’s thing for about 5 mins but no joy
Anyone help?
Thanks

ETA: Just checked and mine is actually a MaxView but I'll leave the below just in case it is useful.

We have one and you are correct it should spin around and just lock on.

Firstly make sure you have the latest software updates. Then it may take longer than five minutes the first time, as it changes the angle spins around, changes the angle etc. but I think they say upto 15 minutes.

Our's initially wouldn't lock on either when I bought our van but I changed the angle of the LNB (screw on the end of the arm where it pivots on the satellite and it worked. In the manual there are measurements for height of the arm when up and mine was out of spec.

It's probably looking for the old Astra2 satelites that were replaced a while ago. Ours packed up in the back end of 2018 in similar fashion.

Oyster support are great, get in touch with them. Details at the bottom of that link in the post above.

If your system is new enough they'll talk you through reprogramming it, or if not then you'll post the control box back to them and they'll fix it and send it back in a few days. I think it cost about £70 for ours.

Make sure the arm is down pointing at the disk. Sometimes the arm’s bolts are too tight preventing it to drop down. We experienced the same problem.
