How many nights?
Discussion
3 so far this year (bloody cold it was too) and another 2 coming up this weekend in the sleeper van with an awning.
All our favourite sites were booked up or at least the best pitches were booked up so we can’t get the caravan out until July when we have 10 nights booked.
I was hoping sites might not be quite so busy this year no that it was easier to travel abroad, but not really seeing that happening so far.

Only about 10 - the joys of having a kid in primary school and being restricted by the holidays he gets.
We normally do a lot more weekends away but since (the majority of) sites opened at Easter this year we have had very few free weekends.
Unfortunately our summer holidays plans have had to be made around caring for elderly parents, so whilst it has been great to get away last week and next week both of those trips have involved flights and traditional hotel/cottage holiday accommodation. I'd much rather be off in our Eriba at considerably less expense.
We do have a couple of 4-day music festivals coming up in Aug/Sept so will get an outing then otherwise we are then into October half-term. It was so cold last year that wife and I promised ourselves we wouldn't do it in the 'van again this year but with the cost of living crisis I suspect we might!

Never as much as I'd like in our camper, but we've managed a week in the Lakes in April, 12 days in Scotland in late June, and a couple of 4 day stays in Woodhall Spa this year. It gets used often on the weekends for days out in the Peaks with the bikes on the back as well though. Eight years in and I wouldn't be without a camper now, but I'm tempted to get something a bit bigger with heating, hot running water etc so that we can have breaks in the colder months as well.
Picked up our new Weinsberg moho in May and did 20 nights in fairly short order. However, my mother's illness put paid to any more during the summer, and then she passed in mid August. Obviously there was the funeral, which didn't happen for approaching a month (long story) and other things to put to bed, as it were.
We then decided it was time to put some miles on the wagon, and so hopped the Newhaven ferry with no other plans whatsoever, and are currently about halfway (ish, flexible) around a France/Spain/France trip, having done 22 nights so far.
So, I'd expect us to have done around a total of about 65 nights or so by the time we get home about a week (maybe) into November.
A couple more local trips in November and December should comfortably see us over 70 nights.
Then... next year, we'll really start!
Edit: Forecast is for 25+ degrees for the next couple of weeks, so I think we timed it right!
