For lovers of history ....Jodi Taylor
Discussion
The last main one was very different, emotionally absolutely brutal. Im not sure I was a mega fan of it, it lost some of its "love note to history" charm.
The short story just released was a suitable return to form even if set very much in the present.
The story I really really want her to write though is Theresa Mack on the barricades ...
The gang find out that Clive Ronan leads the fascists against the barricades (because Mathew is a time map genius) and realise they have to go back and help Mrs Mack and Mrs Enderby with that last gasp defence...
Jodie...send me the royalties now
Oh and another series for recommendation...The Man from Undead.

Howdo
I've not been a tax exile for a while now.
Germany for a bit, Italy for a bit, Holland for a cpl of yrs.
I was semi retiring down to Devon this year to play on the farm and brew beer, but alas have to work some more first. So I'm whoring myself around Oxfordshire currently and playing Farmer Giles/Lord o' Manner at weekends.
Read the shorts! They are excellent! The shorts are turning more and more into Markham books in a way, which I think works really well
