I agree on the cost, too high when you add the postage in. They need to work on better value delivery as according to them they are charged £4.

The franking sticker on mine says the postage was £2.95. Suppose the rest goes on the cardboard box. As I mentioned, it’s big and going to the sorting office to collect if you’re not in is very tedious.

I ordered the first issue and was a bit sceptical of the £4 delivery until it turned up. The thing has a real quality heft to it and is very nicely packaged in a proper box, not some crappy old plastic sleeve.

You really are paying for the quality of the thing, the pictures are top notch and articles I have read so far are engaging and fresh. Personally, I think it's well worth the money and will certainly be subscribing.

It's in a similar vain and ethos to 5054 magazine but better resolved/written/laid out/produced IMO.

Editor is Michael Harvey ex-Top Gear magazine.

Jamie Kitman, Jason Barlow and Ben Oliver are journalists I recognise.

Finally got around to subscribing a week or so ago after SWMBO failed to act on unsubtle pre-Christmas hints.

Haven't read all of Issue 1, but the production quality is very good and I'm enjoying the artwork. Certainly worth a punt considering the content to price on this vs regular motoring magazines.

Quite tempted by this... anyone got any comments on the quality of the Journalism?

Is it worth the money?

Yes, just received issue 2 and it’s fantastic. Beautifully designed and produced with intelligent content at length.

Impressed!

I took the plunge and subscribed... Issue 1 arrived about 2 weeks ago, and Issue 2 at the end of last week.

It's a decent, well written magazine and I'm enjoying it.

The postage charge irked me a little... but that's a pet hate. £40 sub and then £20 postage was a bit of a surprise.

Sat with a G&T and absolutely loving issue 2... actually quite nice to read something in non-digital format

I thought I'd order Issue 1 and the subscription from Issue 2. That was until the order came to £72 for what will be 5 magazines.

I'll try Issue 1 first as that's still a hefy £16.50 with P&P

Personally, I enjoyed issue 2 more than 1.

I've been bought a subscription of this magazine for my birthday. I haven't read a car magazine since giving up on Evo a few years ago. Apparently the bloke behind it is the bassist Coldplay? But I won't hold that against him!

First impressions were that it may be a little pretentious and highbrow for an oik like me but the quality of writing and the stunning photography has won me over. Just starting on the second edition which has a large feature on the Porsche 917 by Nick Trott.

its a quarterly so it still works out cheaper than EVO at £5 a pop. I have high hopes for the promised long reads and collectability, I just hope its down to earth and not too octane/high brow. Discovering Jason Barlow and Nick Trott feature isn't filling me with hope

Not sure it will - it has some serious till behind it in a Coldplay member and "Mr" JWW

Having read issue number 2, I think it's probably worth a tenner a copy, and I'd take a sub out at that price.

But having to pay £4 a copy for postage has really put me off, so I'm out.

Same here - I see the website has a 'discount code' box - anyone got one?
