Is there a way to do a "search" for early pages in the Forums? There are a couple that I would like to get back to the first page, to read the development of the forum and also to see how the kit building process progressed.

If I have to, I can "Page Back" to the start of the Ultima forum -for example- but I would not like to do it for General Gassing!

If you look at the URL of the forum it'll look something like

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?f=20&h=0&p=0&faq=False

change the p=0 bit and you'll get one of two things

"No posts, nothing, not a jot... zilch!"

or

the actual page.

If you start at, say, 500 and do a binary chop (i.e. if there aren't any post's go 1/2 the number, if there are then do 1/2 up from where you were and where you are now)

So, starting at 500

500 = No posts, nothing, not a jot... zilch! (www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?f=20&h=0&p=500&faq=False)
250 = No posts, nothing, not a jot... zilch!
(www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?f=20&h=0&p=250&faq=False)
125 = No posts, nothing, not a jot... zilch!
72 = some posts - so now go to 72 + 72/2 = 103
103 = No posts, nothing, not a jot... zilch!
so now go back the other way
85 = No posts, nothing, not a jot... zilch!
78 is your next one etc.

You'll find that it's at 73
