Fast car for £500

Hi Guys
We are doing a bit of top gear cheap car challenge. Got to buy a car for £500 or less and race it at at a run what you brung at Shakespeare race way in October. Four of us thought we had found the perfect car a 4.0 v8 Stype Jag. But unfortunatly the gearbox went bang. Luckily we resold it for more than we got it for. Found a few 3.0 x type and s type manual jags and a few t5 volvos that could fit the bill. What do you lot think?

Yeh sounds good. Sometimes being lucky to find something different, maybe a 3.0 v6 406 or Laguna?

T5 is easy to map.
Same with saabs

you can set up alerts on ebay now for specific searches.

a Saab 95 Aero with remap must be most bhp per money you could get.
