I 3was going to get one of these cards but then I was reading the literature and saw "Carbon Offsetting" so I through it in the bin.
Threw it in the bin?

Thats one of the reward options you can choose, they don't do it by default.

Experience has also taught me that most folk in the Shell station have no idea of the various membership types/levels. In 90% of the cases I mention my card is not working, they all recommend I re-apply for a standard card. When I point out the V-Power card is sent by invite only/a different card, I am generally met with blank stares.

If a company is going to offer something like this, at least make sure the front line teams have a semblance of awareness....

Apologies for the thread revival

I'm wondering whether they still offer these cards out to customers? Mine is in shocking condition now and it struggles to scan, I want a replacement Vpower Club card if anyone knows if they're still available?

don't think they do one now - I have a standard card and get all the v-power extra points on that - just download the app and you seem to get offers for bonus points etc... I use a lot of v-power

I only use v-power or v-power diesel. The reward you get for using the card is so low it's not worth the hassle of getting out and inserting the loyalty card and waiting for it to be read and putting it away again every time you visit the petrol station in my opinion!

I think I used to get a £5 voucher every 6-12 months.

I have one.

Not had a magazine in ages, although it always went in the bin.

Fair enough, it might make sense to people who fill up a lot more than me but I don't commute so the saving does not outweigh the time wasted faffing with the card.
