Don't know if any of you on here would be interested but over the last few months I've been scanning and uploading a load of my old Whatcar?, CAR, Autocar and Motor magazines road tests from 1955 to 1990ish to flickr.

It's taken ages so far and I'm not even halfway through yet!, My wife thinks I'm sad! (I think she's right but i tell her she doesn't understand...!)

You need to login to view them in full size (It's free to sign up though is you haven't before) But theres loads (Over 300) of interesting ones including, BMW M3 E30, Sierra RS500 Cosworth and Mk1 Golf GTi.

Here's the link www.flickr.com/photos/7869726@N02/sets/

Enjoy

Do they? Wouldn't thought it be a problem though as they are obsolete tests now and I'm not doing it for profit.

Thanks for the heads-up though.

Just a HP PSC 1510, Had it a couple of years but it does the job.

Been reading them, really good stuff, but haymarket will still own the copyright, and may get arsey.

Excellent.

Just been reading the Alfa 75 TSpark review and can report back that they're wrong about the handling.

They reckon it's not powerful enough to bring the tail around in the dry.

The marshals at an MSE airfield day can confirm this is not the case, as I received a bking for putting mine into the infield, backwards.....

You need to sign up to flickr, It's free so don't worry, then when your logged in click on the all sizes tab at the top of the picture you want to see to make it bigger, It will be fully readable then!. :-)

Many thanks for putting these up, just spent half an hour on my night shift delving into the old mags smile The report on my new steed a Merc 300ce was great, and just how I feel about the car 17 years on biggrin
